what is a model test?

A model test (sometimes called a “test shoot” or “model testing”) is a photo session designed to help build or refresh a model’s portfolio. The goal is usually to capture clean, versatile images that showcase the model’s natural look, expressions, personality, and range — rather than selling a specific product or brand.
